Cocktails and shoes? Has there ever been such a perfect pairing?

We say no, and if you agree, we’ve got a feeling you’ll love our latest announcement:

Combining our love for shoes and cocktails, on May 11th, you’ll find us at The Glass Bottle Society, hosting a pop-up shop.

For those who don’t know, The Glass Bottle Society is a female-owned business in Jacksonville, specializing in cocktail supplies for both professional mixologists and cocktail enthusiasts.

In addition to The Glass Bottle Society, we will also be collaborating with another female-owned business: Cam Lee.

Well-known for their all-natural mixers, Cam Lee is the perfect addition for this fun-filled event.

And so, if cocktails and shoes sound up your alley, this is the event for you!

To celebrate our excitement for this upcoming event, here’s a little roundup of some of our favorite shoe and outfit pairings for a cocktail party:

1. The Classic Pump

Easily versatile for whatever style of dress you choose to wear, the classic pump is bound to serve you for years to come.

Dress it up with a statement-making dress, or go for an ultra-classic look with your favorite little black dress. Either way, the classic pump never fails.

2. The Lady-Like Kitten Heel

Kitten heels are having a major reemergence on the fashion scene in recent seasons, and we’re all for it.

With a slightly vintage, 1950s feel, the kitten heel is classic, but it also has an ultra-trendy modern factor attached to it because of its reemergence.

Go for a full midi skirt to complete the 1950s vintage look, and add some bold red lipstick to really give your outfit feminine flair.

3. The Sexy Stiletto

One of the most popular shoe styles amongst woman, the stiletto is always a great option for a cocktail party. In particular, we highly recommend that every woman have at least a pair of black stilettos in her wardrobe.

Easily dressed up with a cocktail dress, but also stylish with some sleek trousers, we know you’ll get plenty of use out of your black stilettos, from cocktail parties and beyond.

4. The Playful Lace-Up

We love a good lace-up shoe. Large bows, full laces up the calf, or even just a dainty ankle strap can do the trick when you’re trying to add some visual interest to your shoe style.

Add a pair of lace-up shoes to your shoe collection, and we’ve got a feeling you’ll quickly understand what we’re raving about.

5. The Bold Color/Pattern

And lastly, we’re all for adding bold colors and patterns to your cocktail outfit, especially when it comes to your shoes.

While some people might focus on adding style to their outfit through their dress, we like to add style through the shoes, and one of the best ways to do this is through a colorful or boldly printed shoe.

Pair with a black dress or chic trousers, and we know you’ll see the impact that a pair of good shoes can have on your cocktail look.

And there you have it: cocktail outfit inspiration, highlighting some of our favorite shoe styles.

While you, of course, don’t have to get so dolled up to attend our pop-up shop, we can’t wait to see what shoes you’ll be rocking.

Plus hey, if you can’t find shoes that you love in your closet, we’ve always got you covered with our extensive collection.

Come out and support women in business on May 11th at The Glass Bottle Society, and enjoy some delicious cocktails and trendy shoes. No doubts here: this is the event for you.
